Gingerbread workshops for schools
Baking gingerbread and the sweet, spicy aroma are an essential part of waiting for Christmas. We invite your whole class to visit the PiparkoogiMaania exhibition and bake artistic gingerbreads yourselves. Together we will talk about the exhibition, explore the history of gingerbread, and solve a puzzle activity. A shared adventure in the gingerbread world – it’s something truly special!
PiparkoogiMaania is a Christmas-time gingerbread art exhibition featuring over 100 artists, designers, and architects each year. The exhibition has been running for 20 years. Gingerbread art is a wonderful way to introduce young people to art and design, while also developing their own creativity.
Töötoad toimuvad PiparkoogiMaania näituse alumisel korrusel meie hubases popup köögis, kus on loodud kõik tingimused, et küpsetada ja kaunistada põnevaid piparkooke. kus näitusel osalevad kunstnikud õpetavad huvitavaid küpsetus- ja kaunistamisnippe. An exciting change for school
The gingerbread workshop is led by artists participating in the exhibition, who always enjoy doing things in their own unique way. With just a few new techniques and a more playful mindset, you can create gingerbreads that are completely different. The workshop is suitable for young people of all ages, as we adapt the activities to the children’s age and skill level. The finished gingerbreads will be packed for the children to take home.
Sometimes it has even happened that Santa has left Christmas presents for the whole class under our tree. Come and experience gingerbread magic in its purest form!

Prices and capacity
Number of people in the groupLaua taha mahub korraga kuni 18 küpsetajat. Seepärast jagame tavaliselt klassi pooleks. Pool klassi jääb küpsetama ja teine pool vaatab näitust ning lahendab otsimismängu. Nii on ka rahulikum küpsetada. Palume, et klassil oleks kaasas vähemalt 2 saatjat.
Workshop durationThe workshop lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the workshop starts so that we can set up the kitchen properly.
